Funny, new to meal planning

I am going to my sisters house tomorrow and have to feed myself. I made food in advance for the first time, and I made two ham and cheese sandwiches, two hardboiled eggs, corn, green beans, a protein shake, an apple and a bunch of veges. I showed my dad the food and he said "are you going there to look after the kids, or to eat?" LOL. I probably will go over my calories if I don't go for a walk or something. I'll be there for several hours and there are lots of treat foods there so hopefully what I've taken will keep me on track. I might have some of it as my evening meal.

It's good to have a plan and to be flexible when things get in the way of your plans.

Maybe you can be active with the kids -- take them for a walk, play outside, etc.

Log your food early in the day and it'll give you an idea of how to stay on track. Get active with the kids, a walk or dance party will be good for everyone.
