Hi everyone…new here.
How do you track cooking oils? For example a tablespoon of salted butter for a family meal of 9 scrambled eggs? Divided by 4 people.

1 tablespoon divided by nine. That would be your serving of oil. So find an entry for oil and put in your measurement as 1 tablespoon, then your serving as 1/9.1 -

So, assuming 4 people eat equal portions, nothing significant left in pan
9 eggs fresh large (size?) ÷ 4 = 2.25 eggs each person
Select 1 tbsp butter (÷ by 4 = ) and enter .25 for the amount used.0 -
Oops, yep, missed the divided among 4 people part. Adventurista would be correct. I was doing it egg🤦♀️0

No -- there are only four people eating. The number of eggs they are sharing is immaterial to the logging of the butter used to cook them. OP should log 0.25 tbsp of butter.0 -
As others have said, log the amount you use divided by the number of serves. I don't quibble with the whole "maybe some gets left behind" unless it's a really greasy dish (which I don't cook anyway), I'd rather log over and lose a bit faster, than log under and wonder why I'm not losing.Greaterthanlife wrote: »Hello everyone:

Hi there @Greaterthanlife I see you've been posting a good while now, but just so you know - each thread here is a discussion with a discussion title and a topic, so just picking one at random and popping in to post what you ate is a bit odd, like walking up to a group of people and telling them completely out of the blue and walking away. Maybe you might want to start yourself a thread where you keep posting your daily intake?1 -

Yeah. That was already addressed and I acknowledged I missed that.0
