What happens when you reach goal weight app-wise?

I started a little over a year ago at 394. I’m now 261 with a goal of 250. What does the app do after you reach goal? Does it go into maintenance; or what? This is the third time around and I’m more interested in keeping it off since losing it seems easier.

The app doesn't automatically change anything, you'll need to go into your settings and change it to maintaining and it will recalculate.

You will also want to take that with a grain of salt, and base your long term maintenance on data you gather yourself. For me, hitting maintenance will mean more calories but no change in my logging habits for a long time, so I get a true sense of what maintenance really means for me.

Agreed. The app doesn't know you've reached goal unless/until you tell it.
Congratulations on your loss! Job well done!
I would suggest you check out some of the "Goal: Maintaining Weight" threads now. You're so close!

I'm not there yet but I seen some tips and I would slowly raise your calories up. Maybe add 50 per day for a week, then add another 50 the next week and ease your way up. That way you won't see much of a weight jump initially and you can ease your way up to see where your maintenance cals really are.

You switch your goal to maintain and keep on going. If you find you are continuing to lose weight on your suggested maintenence calories, up your calories a little until you are no longer losing. Start gaining a little more than you want? Adjust your calories down a little. Continue ad nauseum until you shuffle this mortal coil.
