Cut/Weight Loss Settings

I figured out how to do this, but it was kind of a crazy work around that seems like it could work better as a premium feature or there may be a way to get this to work and I just don’t know what it is.

I’m wanting to do a mini-cut for a few weeks where I lose about 2 lbs per week and where my macro goals are 150 g-protein, 50 g-fat, and everything over that is carbs.
So, I changed my settings to not very active and maintain weight, this gave me about 2250 calories per day. I changed it to lose 1 pound per week and it gave me about 1750 calories per day. Then I changed it to 2 pounds per week and it changed it to about 1250 calories per day. Once I knew that I went in and set my macro targets to 150 for protein, 50 for fat, and just enough grams of carbs to get me to a total of 1250 calories. Then I changed the settings for exercise calories to be 100% carbs.

So, if I were just sitting and watch TV all day I would just get about 30 grams of carbs, if I do a ton of exercise, I get 300 grams.

The not very active, very active settings are subjective. They are probably good if you don’t have a wearable that syncs with MFP, but having a cut feature with a syncing wearable would be nice.

I may have just really overengineered this when there was a better way to do it.
