How to change calories of a downloaded store item

I find when I download foods from the MyFitnessPal universe, although the title is exact (e.g. Stouffers Classic Meatloaf) the calorie count is different (box says 310, download choice is 290.) It seems you can't change the calories of the downloaded product and I see no way to correct the online item to the correct per the product packaging from the store. But without me having to retype all of the information as a manual food item for me, is there a way to clone a product (ie move a copy of the official downloaded item to my personal food items) so I then can easily start with the downloaded information and just change what I want in the item in my personal food area?
