Losing weight in college...

...is SO much easier than I expected!! I was crazy scared because of all the talk about the "Freshman 15."

In all honesty, though, losing weight here is WAY easier than losing weight at home ever was. I'm busy all day, every day, so I have plenty to keep my mind off food; the South Dining Hall serves everything correctly portioned (although it IS up to you whether you'd like to take more than that or not) and with nutrition information posted/readily available; the gym is AMAZING and easy to access; and my dorm room is three floors up (talk about stairs).

Long story short, I can already feel everything getting tighter, although I haven't weighed myself in weeks. Losing weight in college has been so easy for me so far!

Anyone have any losing-weight-in-college success stories?

  • That's great to hear! Plus, you don't have the bad influence of the family, who are not trying to lose weight, keeping you from achieving your goals. Plan ahead and you will do fine... don't wait to the last minute to do your studying... :)
