I can’t figure out serving size in recipe builder

Like the title says I need help with figuring out serving size. I weighed each individual ingredient in grams as I added them to the recipe. I also weighed the finished recipe (minus the bowls) This recipe is part of my weekly meal planning, so it’s for 1 person. Maybe I missed a step or I’m overthinking it lol Any help is appreciated !

If it's going to be for one meal, I'd use one serving. If it's for multiple meals, I'd put the total finished weight in grams into the number of servings, then weigh the amount I use each time I ate it and log that number of servings that day. (MFP will give a warning message about the huge number of servings, but it will let me go on and use the big number.) With one person eating it, another option is to decide how many meals it'll be a part of, and use that as the number of servings, i.e., if using it in 4 dinners and one lunch, I'd use 5 servings.

If more people were eating it, I'd go with number of grams as number of servings, personally.

In any case, you don't need to do what I'd do, but those ideas above are what I do in various circumstances.

Most (not all) non-meat serving sizes are 28 grams aka 1 ounce.

Meats are typically 4 oz servings (occasionally 3 for filets, ham etc/).

Check the package’s nutritional info. They will usually provide a serving size in the nutritional chart.

Like pasta is typically 56 gr aka 2 ounces.

Nut butters are usually 32gr, sauces and dressings very often 15gr.

On things like vegetables, like when I made my lasagna this weekend and my bean soup tonight, I’ll put in however much diced vegetables the cook in me thinks it needs and log them all.
