Calories off on recipies input?

Hello everyone, not sure if this is the right spot to put this.

I was adding a recipie i made (link below)
https://sweetpeasandsaffron.com/slow-cooker-black-bean-quinoa-sweet-potato-stew/

and when MFP grabbed the nutritional info, automatically it shows 554 calories per serving but when you look at the site at the bottom it shows 294. That seems to be off quite a bit. It isn't the first time but since this was off again I wanted to ask if anyone else has gotten this issue w/info not pulling properly and how to resolve it?

I did notice there didn't seem to be a way to correct the calorie per serving, seems you can only edit servings.

When you import a recipe, you still need to verify the individual ingredient entries. MFP is a crowd-sourced database and inaccuracies abound. It can be users entering only what's relevant to them, or alternatively a change in the formulation or recipe by a manufacturer. Just as an example, back in the day there was a legendary garlic entry that came back as having 3,000 calories! Thus, every entry you use should be verified against either the package or an external site like the USDA database. The difference in calories is almost certainly due to an erroneous ingredient entry.

Forget back in the day, I found this green checked 2600 calories for 100g pumpkin entry just yesterday!

It looks like other units of measurement might be correct, but the 1g and 100g calorie amounts are the same, so 100 x 1g brings up the calories for 100 x 100g.

And yet it's been verified twice <eye roll> Once just a couple of months ago!

Thank you. I went back and reviewed the recipie, the ingredients are right but i looked at the site again and saw it said a serving is "Serving: 1/8 of batch".......I've never seen that before so no wonder why it said the calories were 294.
