Hello from a oldie newbie again

So I've had my fitness pal something crazy like 9yrs. Thru fat times when I should've used it and skinny times lol in fitness and health..til death do us part lol
I dunno about anyone else but I've noticed I'm on a 3yr cycle. I get fit n skinny then chill for a yr.. pile on the weight, next yr ooo I should do something (but never do) to "damn I'm fat riiiiight!!!!!! That's it!! I'm done being fat now
So here I am again.. 3rd time getting fit. Proving tricky as I had surgery last Sept so cannot walk.
Biggest thing for me (and hope it helps someone...)
DO A GOODAM BIG FOOD SHOP!!!!!!!!
I'm forever popping to tesco daily n only thinking about that day cause I don't have the energy. Everytime I go I spend £25 ...I go for milk n bread...get something dumb like a pot noodle for work lunch and then crisps n chocolate for my son (and inevitably myself) but big shops are expensive right?!
I skip meals... my body clings onto food more than a caveman.
Xmas day i weighed myself 150lb. (Nearly 11stone) because I can't get to tesco after surgery I ordered tesco food delivery £200 but actual food.
Nothing particularly healthy...just actually food yano?! Meat, small portions of potatoes and veg.
Having food in the house meant no more daily £25 shops... no snacks . But I've not actually WANTED them cause I've eaten real food.
I bought little nibbley bits, nuts, rice cakes, pickled onions, meats, yoghurts, fruit.. for evening when I fancy something..
Moral of the story... its been 10days since that big shop. Would've spent easy that same £200 and ate no real food with the dailys before... but I haven't spent a penny since.
But I have eaten proper meals (Steaks, roast chicken dinner, fajitas, pasta) pretty much gone thru all the fresh meat unless I froze it. I chopped n frozen veg so got the rest of months veg still.... got frozen meals, got tin meals, got at least another 2wk of good meals....
AND IM NOW 140lb ....10lb down in 10days.... all because I'm actually eating food!!!!!
DONT SKIP MEALS PEOPLE. have stuff to hand... so when u are tempted it's easier to be good than bad
