How it makes me feel

I am new to the idea of weight loss and I think it has really benefited me. Now having much little food than I am used to, I have found that being hungry makes me enjoy food a lot more 😊

    Hi @isobellyboo12375 welcome
To MFP. Good for you for getting started. That’s half the battle right there. The other half is sticking to it, and that’s hard if you’re hungry all the time.

If you’re genuinely hungry, I’m going to suggest you’re not eating enough.

I lost ten dress sizes and been in maintenance five years. I was never “hungry”, except when I wasn’t eating enough.

You do you, but do it smartly and rationally. Losing weight is great but it can be dangerous if you lose too much, too fast.

Don’t do anything foolish that can cause muscle loss or damage (your heart is a muscle), hair loss, mood swings, loss or interruption of your period, and more.

In all honesty, I lost too much, lost a buttload of muscle even while weight training regularly,
and had to make the very difficult decision to put some weight back on

My husband is like the guy who offers his crazy friend a Snickers bar if he sees me verging in “hangry”. I regulate and monitor it with regular, healthy snacks.
