If you are speaking of doing it in a thread such as this, you can tag them with the ampersand symbol @Nature_Nerd_Kerry. This should send them a notification that they have been tagged and will take them to the thread. Or you can send them a link by copy and pasting the thread link and sending it to them via a direct message (if you are friends and can exchange messages).
