Hi, I am thinking of moving from having a tailored plan with trainer which I did for last 18 months to go solo on fitnesspal

Hello, and welcome to the Community here!
That can be a good choice. Having a trainer can be a step up on our goals, but at some point we may "graduate" into a new phase of self-support.
If you have questions or speed bumps that you're concerned about when doing that, don't be afraid to post a discussion in the relevant part of the Community to get input, if you think that might help you go forward. There are very few professional trainers or dietitians or anything like that here, but quite a few people who are personally experienced - some for decades - at making their own way in those realms, and who can offer useful advice, or pointers about where to find solid information elsewhere on the web.
Wishing you success, whichever direction you choose!0
