Hey, I am new here and would love some advice and help and inspiration. I am newly vegetarian (new year) and it’s working well. I tend to over indulge and eat the wrong things. I have set myself a realistic goal and would love to see how others are achieving their goals xx

Hello, and welcome!
I'm a fellow vegetarian, ovo-lacto in my case, and have been eating that way for 50+ years . . . slim to overweight, then obese, then athletic while obese for a dozen years, then back to slim again, staying there for 9+ years now since losing around 50 pounds.
No question, realistic goals are important for success, and finding/practicing new, relatively happy routine daily eating and activity habits is the power tool for getting there.
If you have specific questions, don't be afraid to post threads in the most related part of the MFP Community. In my experience, most people are pretty helpful. Perhaps not all of others' ideas will suit you, but some may be good things to try.
