Introduction

Hi everyone! I’m excited to reintroduce myself to the MyFitnessPal community, and I’m super thankful to my friend Briana for encouraging me to use this app to track my macros! My health journey began when I signed up for health sharing to save money, but I was shocked to discover I weighed more than I thought. I realized I’d have to pay more because of my weight, which launched me into dieting. Thankfully, I lost enough weight to get below a 40 BMI and save money—but that experience taught me I didn’t want to live in a cycle of dieting and unhappiness.

With Briana’s help and this app, I’m learning how to eat clean and enjoy my food while staying on track. Last year, I lost 46 pounds and have maintained it, but just before January, I started an exercise plan and fully committed to eating clean. My goal this year is to lose another 80 pounds and get closer to my target of 165 pounds. I’m super excited to take control of my health, and I’m ready to crush these goals one step at a time! Let’s do this!
