eb 1st I was 164.2
3/23 155.6
3/24 156.4
3/25 155.4
3/26 154.8
3/27 153.2
3/28 154.4
3/29 153.6
8 pounds to go to get at the top end of ideal weight.
3/30 153.6
3/31 153.0 met mini goal, next goal 150
4/4 151.6
4/5 151.0
4/8 Still 151.0 I kind of went off the rails on Sunday. I didn't eat over my calories but I ate late and high carb, so my BS went up and I had gained 1.5 pounds, prob mostly water weight and salt, yesterday. Now it's gone. Hopefully if I stay low carb and low sodium (and low calorie) I will lost a little this week.
4/11 150.0 met mini goal of 150 next mini goal 147.5
4/12 148.8 In the 140s!!!!
4/14 148.6 BIG WIN TODAY!! After 6 months of low carb dieting my blood sugar tested normal this am, at 96. That is 1/3 of what it was testing in October. And what I have been working toward. The weight loss is secondary. I have just three pounds to go before I am no longer "overweight" by the charts. And will be a normal BMI. I hope to get there by the end of this challenge, but we know as we lose weight the weight comes off slower. It will be very sweet to get there. Doubly so if I can keep my blood sugar low (which means low carb, low carb, low carb!)
4/15 147.8
4/25 147.8 got derailed into a salt retention weight gain from the easter ham but finally back to 147.8
And yesterday before dinner my blood sugar tested at 96. So while it has tested that in the morning at times this is the first time between meals that I've noticed it has gone that low. So that was a plus too
4/26 147.2 Finally a drop from before easter weight
4.28 146.4 !!!!
4/29 today after coming home from getting bloodwork (no breakfast) I weighed myself and I was 145..6!!! Now (according to the charts) I'm no longer overweight. I am at the high end of normal. With a normal BMI. I may bounce up a little tomorrow, and when I go into the doctor post bloodwork on thursday that scale may be a little different. But, it has been six months since I started dieting after being diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure. I have lost Exactly 50 pounds. How weird and amazing that it worked out to be exactly that. I now have an A1C, that, while not perfect, is in the prediabetic range. And I hope to get it down to normal in another three months. I have to thank everyone on MFP who has encouraged me, and MFP itself, whose food diary has helped me be accountable and whose link with Fitbit logged my exercise calories. And Fitbit, whose trackers told me how many calories I was burning and how many steps I walked. It's been a group effort, and I am very thankful!!

Thank you @RubyRed427 for continuing the challenge. I couldn’t decide if I should do another round or not. I haven’t done great losing, but I also haven’t gained either so I suppose a plateau is my win…for now. Maybe next round is “the one”. I am inspired by so many others in this group that are losing that I have decided to continue on.

4/30 145.6
total lost this round
from Feb 1st 164.2
to April 30 145.6
18.6 pounds in 3 months. Not quite the 2 pounds a week I was aiming for, but I had at least two plateaus where I stayed the same for a couple weeks or more. I'll take it.
I'd like to lose another 20, but as I'm sure others in this thread and elsewhere have indicated, it gets harder. Still, it's mowing season, so I'll get exercise doing that.
Congrats to everyone on completing this round!

No where near goal. Up and down the entire challenge. I was able to break into 140s but it was brief. In the end I lost 1 pound from start. I do feel like my mind is on board for the next challenge though so my goal is still 145, maintenance, and to maintain maintenance weight when reached.

☔️☔️☔️☔️☔️04/30-196.0 ❌ -(Trend Weight: 194.8) A huge overnight jump due to travel. Dinner was at a steakhouse. I only ate half my meal and the only thing out of line was a milkshake I had on the way home. That caused a 3 ½ pound increase overnight? What in the world have I done to my body and my metabolism over the years of dieting? Ridiculous! Back to square one.
