Exewcise tracking / Data treatment

I was wondering what software you guys are using to track your progress, improvements and personal records when exercising - 'cause lets face it, MFP is not geared for that.

My situation is that my exercises are mainly spinning and running, and I'm using a Poaler RCX5 heart rate monitor which collects an awful lot of data. The default data tracking suite is PolarPersonalTrainer, but I find it somewhat lacking in that I can't set up favourite running routes, I can't sort and do statistics on my results very well - and I can't make overlays of heart rate data (and cadence data) from different training sessions on the bike to analyse the exect differences.

Do any of you guys have the same issues and perhaps even solutions?

  • You cou try the free Runkeeper App. I use it. It is quite practical and might be what you're looking for ;)
