Serving sizes in MFP recipes

I’m trying to work out how many balls and bites are considered a serve for the peak protein balls and the carrot cake bites. Does anyone know? It makes a huge difference to the macros by getting it wrong. Input appreciated please.

Peak protein says serves 30, so I'd say 30 bites. The carrot cake bites are a bit harder because it says serves 6, but to use a 1TBS scoop to put them on a tray, so really, however many it makes divided by 6.

I wouldn’t worry so much about serving sizes, as logging them accurately.

This week I made Turkish Bride Soup. I made 4 servings. I had one (25%) portion for dinner. I had half of that (12.5%) for lunch yesterday and will probably do the same tomorrow.

I try not to stay so wrapped up in serving sizes as I am with what portion I actually want to eat at any given time.

Likewise, I made protein pancakes Sunday. Two cake sheets worth, which is eight breakfasts for me . Am I going to measure them with a ruler? Nah, too much trouble. I cut them in to 32 pieces and log
12.5% of the entire recipe. Sure, one day I might actually eat 10% and another 13%, but over eight days, it all adds up to 100%.

If I make a pan of lasagna and freeze most of it, I do the same. I eyeball serving sizes, and mark the bag “bag is 10% of recipe”. That way I log 5% each for me and for my husband.

    Hope that makes sense.
