(borrowed from Jan., 2025 challenge board):
If you haven't seen this challenge before, let me brief you about it:
What you have to do to change the way you feel about your eating at night:
- decide what late night snacking means to you (could be either bingeing, if you're inclined to it or simply eating anything at all after a certain time; some may find that having a healthy snack after dinner is perfectly alright and be upset only when they go overboard)
- report in the thread. We post by the formula:
Me: X vs. LNS: Y,
where X is "how many evenings you stuck to it" and Y "the times late night snacks won".
You may want to also add a * to the latest number. Feel free to also post streaks of how many days (in a row) you've managed to be free of late night snacking
It's as simple as that. Or as complicated , as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile!

Excited to start this challenge!
I’m a ‘bored’ eater at night, but I’m enforcing intermittent fasting into my routine and will stop eating at 7pm.
Good luck, everyone!

Slipped the last day of Jan - back on track now!1 -
Oooh, so glad for this Challenge.
I had a fantastic dinner. Cleaning up the kitchen, the chocolate chip cookies are calling my name!!!
But I stayed strong, finished the dishes, brushed my teeth, put in nighttime mouth guard, and I'm going to bed.
No LNS for me.

I had almost *2* dinners (I was hungry), and I am really thinking of snacking (even though I'm full).
But I'm not going to give in (because it would be like opening a floodgate).
I'm going to bed!

Last night was my first night of the challenge (also first day on myfitnesspal). I wanted so badly to watch TV and munch on something but was encouraged by the posts on this challenge. Thank you to those who share their struggles and triumphs.1 -
