Period drama is my go to genre when I need to relax and switch off. Downton Abbey, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility etc. I call them my doona day shows.7

That's so cute 'doona day shows' ๐ฉต2

I love The Way Home
And The Chosen
Both are great series1 -
I like to watch 2 - 3 episodes of "Escape to the Country" in the evenings to relax. I'm in the US, and it's so enjoyable to learn about the different UK areas and "help" the buyers choose which house might fit their needs, lol.1

I watch My Three Sons and I Love Lucy.
Then I turn on the news.0 -
I love horror movies/ TV - itโs the only thing that keeps my attention and makes me escape and destress.

P&P (1995), Emma (2009), Terra Nova (2011). I love Jane Austen, but I also have a little boy who loves dinosaurs so I found something we both like.

I guess for me it's "Friends" or "Love It or List It"

I reckon anything in the MCU (super heroes save the day!) or the NCIS/CSI series (normal people using their brains, not brawn, to catch the bad guy).

NCIS has been my go-to show on the elliptical machine for YEARS now!!

I am rewatching all of Star Trek Next Generation

I loved The Addams Family, even the video game. ๐
In no particular order. Father Ted, South Park, American Dad, Family Guy, Friends, The Life & Times of Tim, Bob's Burgers, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and a few others but these are the go to for comfort.1 -
Father Ted? We always marvel how that even got made. We quote Father Jack all the time, lol.
You know what I mean. ๐
If you like Father Ted, have you checked out Black Books?

I do know what you mean, lol. I quote quite a bit from that show, and in their accents, too. ๐
I thought Black Books was great, loved all the characters!1 -
Only the best series of the bunch! I'll gladly stand on that hill, plant my flag.

This is mine too. I'm late to becoming a fan of this show so I have years and years of episodes to catch up on. It's also helpful for me to learn about UK real estate since I'm going to be moving there.

youโll let us know when you appear on House Hunters International, right?!

I had four days off from work recently and binge watched House MD. It was really great, but ugh the last season without Dr. Cuddy kinda sucked. I liked it so much, which I am here, that I slept to it in the background. It's been nearly two weeks since then, and I still have weird dreams involving vagus nerves, Chagas disease, and other weird connections between different medical condition terms in my dreams. I didn't have the best sleep during this time, but I got in the shows I had been missing and now I am back to working on sleeping better during the work week, which for me is M-F. Good sleep really does help everything else run smootherโmaintaining normal eating and exercising habits and feeling energized and focused at work. On that note: Goodnight, MFPs!

Always friends! ๐

For me, David Gilmour Live at Gdansk is a happy place. I can be having the worst day, and if I put that on it's grounding and relaxing.
