Step one to burn stomach fat: lose bodyfat from around the entire body.
Step two: repeat step one until you reach desired level of bodyfat
Outside of surgery, you cannot decrease fat in one part of the body, you can only work to lower fat in the entire body. Some people's genetics will dictate which body part tends to hold onto fat longest, but nothing we can do for diet or exercise will impact this. Only time, patience, commitment to lowering fat all over.1 -
Wow! I think it's cool that you want to work on your CORE! Most people think their CORE = ABs area.
The one discipline that I know of with a CORE based focus is Reformer Pilates. (You are using a machine called a Reformer) Most men aren't interested in Reformer Pilates because they have the misconception that Pilates is NOT really a "work out". Until they try it. LOL. The Kansas City Chiefs requires Pilates classes for their players!
If you don't have a Pilates Studio near you, then I would recommend Mat Pilates. You don't need equipment.
For mat Pilates, Joseph Pilates (Founder) created what is called the Mat Pilates Sequence. When I was training to be a Pilates Instructor we dedicated an entire day to Mat Pilates. I was honestly FRIED midway through because its YOU against YOUR body weight. If your core muscle don't kick in....man oh man... you'll find your body recruiting the wrong muscles to get into the position. This usually causes pain, exhaustion, and lengthens recovery time. This Mat Pilates Sequence is meant to be done sequentially. When you are able to complete the entire series, you'll be pretty darn proud of yourself and your CORE will be too! I'm pretty sure you can find an Instructor doing the Mat Series on YouTube.
Hope this helps! Cheers To A Stronger CORE!
