I'm curious as to how other users of the app and use the Food log, how are you logging raw vs cooked vegetables, beans or lentils for example??

I cook for myself only, so I weigh and log them raw. I never log them cooked.0 -
I weigh raw 99% of the time, and use a raw food entry.
I occasionally weigh cooked and use a cooked food entry, when I know that it's accurate (basmati rice and potatoes are my favorite cooked food entries, because there isn't much variation in how much water is absorbed during cooking).0 -
I usually weigh raw when possible, because varied amounts of water tend to be gained or lost in cooking. The calories are the same, regardless of water content, but the weight changes.
Occasionally, I forget to weigh raw, or can't do it for some reason like buying the food pre-cooked. Then I used cooked weight.
In either case, IMO what's important is to use the closest entry in the food database: Raw entry for raw food, cooked entry for cooked food, and in some cases even the cooking method may make a difference (boiling adds water, baking tend to subtract it) so I'd pick the right method if available.0
