Can not verify email

yFitnessPal says:

Verifying the email address connected to your MyFitnessPal account has two primary benefits:

A verified email address allows us to send you password reset emails if you can't access your account.
Email addresses with typos may deliver your MyFitnessPal notifications to other people! Verifying your email assures you that the email we send to your account reaches you, and no one else.


But here's the problem:

I had a typo in the new email I was trying to update to. So MFP is sending the verification to an email that most likely does not exist, and that i certainly can not access.

Now, in the box where you type the new email, it becomes greyed out and inaccessible with only the option to resend the verification, which will, again, go to an inaccessible email.

When I go to zendesk, I can not log in. It tells me the email and password combo do not match. I tried with my original email and password, and with my updated email (with the typo) and password, and get the same error.

And here's the kicker-in order to sign into my MyFitnessPal account now, I have to use the email-complete with typo-that I was trying to update to. The UNVERIFIED email that I have no access to. So what's the point of email verification, if we have to use the unverified email? My original email and password no longer work.
