Scale help

my father is in a wheel chair. he was telling me yesterday he was trying to find a scale that didn't shut off right away when he got off. he can get himself on a scale. than it takes him awhile to sit back down in his wheelchair. he is unable to look down and keep himself up at the same time. he lives alone, so no one can help him.
does anyone know of a scale that will display the weight longer than a few seconds? or if he could tap it and the weigh reappear so he could read it once he was back in his chair.
thanks for your help.

i would suggest calling a health store like GNC and asking one of the associates...they probably have a good working knowledge of what scales they offer. unfortunately i don't know any myself.0

click on this site a bunch of different scales come up from Target Stores. If you click on the details of each you might find one. I see there is one that is a talking scale. That idea might work too.

Yes, my parents have one of those... I totally thought it was annoying (I didn't want anyone in the hallway hear how much I weighted - sigh! Self concious much?)
But yes, this might totally work for your dad!
Best of luck!0 -

Oh also you might find a scale which stores the last several measurements... I remember seeing one of those a while back.0
