People taking weight loss drugs

Options
Hi folks. Just curious. If you are taking one of the weight loss drugs are you still logging and counting calories? and if so how many calories are you actually consuming a day. Does it work out fairly stable and around the same every day or does it vary wildly depending on how you feel on the day.

Not taking any medication as yet but watching this carefully as my GP has said he can prescribe weight loss medication if I feel I want to take it. Not sure if I do want to take it so doing my research at this point!

I am currently on wegovy have been for a little over a year. I've lost 80 pounds so far and recently noticed i was losing and gaining the same 4 pounds and I realized I may need to start back using a food diary to track my food intake. I know this tool tracking food works as i've lost weight with it in the past and this is something i will continue to do as I know i won't be on the medication forever. The medication causes the stomach to empty out slower and you tend to eat much less. I'm a grazer so i know alot of my issues resolve around grazing all day and under estimating how much i'm actually eating. Hopefully going back to tracking my food i can reign that in and get to my goal.

It doesn't matter if you are taking medications or not. You still require a caloric deficit to lose weight. Tracking what you eat is just as important as taking the medication. (disclaimer. I don't take medication for weight loss.)
