Calorie budget

Ash a 244 lb man who is trying to lose 19 lb why is MyFitnessPal a lot of me such a high calorie budget I have been allotted $2,590 calories plus I work out 40 minutes everyday which gives me an additional 800 calories I'm not sure I'll see him eating that many calories is going to help me lose weight if anybody has any insight please let me know if there

A big body needs a lot of energy to just function and to keep you alive. If you walk around with a bigger body it also requires more energy to move. To be honest, 2600 calories for losing weight slowly sounds about right. However, it's very unlikely you're burning 800 calories in 40 minutes. That's top athlete kind of range. Maybe eat a part of that back for now and re-evaluate in 4-6 weeks.0
