Hi. Before I start, I'd like to ask you to refrain from lecturing; I know what I'm doing is wrong, I know I have an eating disorder, and I am getting help, I just need some answers. I was eating very low in calories last week, less than 500, save for one day which was a little over 1000. Yesterday I ate 3000+ cals (i dont really know how much) because I freaked out, hearing that I was screwing up my metobolism by not eating and i was ketotic and weak. I wasnt able to sleep lastnight because of the guilt. However, this still puts me deficit about 1,100 of my weekly goal of 800 per day. What I'm asking is will I gain weight?? Is the weekly total what is important or is distribution what is vital?? I know this is unhealthy, i'm trying to recover, but I'm only inquiring about this one incident. I'm really really anxious. As stated before, i dont plan to make this a normal habit. Does your body use the calories you overindulged on the next day or are they forever stored as fat?

Don't panic,
Less than 500 is ok but don't do it for more than two days in any given week. A nice healthy deficit is about 500/day. That way you can lose weight and not worry about your metabolism.
3000+ calories - you'll store some of that until you go back into deficit. None of it will be permanent. I aim for ~1570cals/day which is about 500 down from my average but, just today, I ate 3900!! I'm a bit miffed I didn't quite make 4000 which would've been a proper weekend binge! Tomorrow I'll go back to being good and the fat will start going back down.
It will be exactly the same for you. As long as you're usually in deficit, your weight will keep going down0
