Can anyone tell me if it's possible to pin important announcements to the top of the page?

    Pinning topics at the top for all users? Yes it's possible, but only admins can do that. At the top of most - if not all - boards here you'll notice pinned topics.

    @Lietchi Thank you for your response. By admins do you mean MFP staff or group leaders? I would like to pin important announcements to my groups.

    Ah, you're talking about groups, not the general boards. I just checked one of my groups and I see a separate section 'announcements' at the top and below it a section 'discussions', so it should be a possibility. Not sure if it's an option somewhere, or simply something automatic when you post an announcement type topic.
