I have been working on my fitness challenge. I aimed to lose 20 pounds not that I was big but when I hit over 200 pounds I new things had to change. I am 6'2 then 210 and since I have been tracking calories through this app makes it easy. I go to the gym 4 days a week. I have followed a couple of tik toks which have been instrumental. If you have the time the 30-30-30 program works well. When you wake up within 30 minutes have a protein 30 grams and then within that 30 light cardio walking just to elevate your heart rate. I have been sticking to a higher protein diet 60%. I have been at it now for 8 weeks and I am down to 194. I am not starving myself but make sure I have enough calories to stustain a workout. I also believe in intermittent fasting. I only have 2 meals a day my last one being around 3 pm. This gets my body into ketosis and don't have my next meal until 10 am. This sounds tough as I thought it did but it works. If you have medical conditions or diabetes I recommend consulting with your physician. And lastly, it may not be for everyone but I did a 72 hour fast with water, potassium, celtic salt and magnesim...it doesn't hurt to add a little lemon water for taste. This cleans seemed to reset my body and actually cleared my head. I have been losing almost a pound every 3 days. I aim to do a fast every 3 weeks just to reset the next one might be for 5 days . Well good luck everyone on your journey... these are tips that have worked for me and by the way you don't have to go crazy at the gym. Lighter weights prevent injuries and if you want to maximize just do more reps.
