The format on this thing is weird… did mfp do an update or something?

Hey it’s Kristin, 5’3 and 36. Here are my goals
155-throw out one shirt
150- throw out two shirts
145- throw out three shirts, throw out one hoodie
*these are shirts that shrunk too short for my hubby to wear lol
April goal: under 150
4/18 goal: under 145
5/10 goal: under 140
8/1 goal: 130 (going to gulf shores with family)
UGW:1252/14: 163.6
3/1: 156.8
3/3: 156.6
3/5: 155.0This new editing sucks. I know they were doing an update, but the line spacing is irritating. Anyways, walked the last two days over lunch and did my 200 minutes under the desk peddling both days while staying under calories. Added a new goal as we made a last minute decision to go visit family on 4/19 so i want to be under 145 by then. I think it’s doable. I also am giving up pop/soda for Lent even though I drink diet anyways, less sugar is always a good thing. Hopefully next weigh in my drawer will be one shirt less!

Not sure about this formatting , thought it was just me at first but then I saw all the other comments. It annoying.
I have been buried at work , which makes me feel like I am a broken record. Its been this way for the last two weeks. Lots of internal team changes, management changes and things are just in upheaval. It will hopefully settle back down in time but its making my days really stressful and long. It seems like there is no time to actually get work done because I am in back to back meetings.

Have a great day all!

oh wow I hate this format. I’ll have to put the whole thing in a separate note file I guess? Not even sure how to manage this

We'll... this is not an exciting week scale wise. BUT I do notice a couple non-scale victories! My clothes fitting looser & I can put my socks & shoes on way easier lol!! Wins! Living by a new motto. If I eat and stay active like a healthy person, inevitably, I will be, look and feel like healthy person. If I eat unhealthy & am not active, inevitably, I will be, look and feel like an unhealthy person. No matter what the scale says!

@brittgreenlikethecolor88 - so good to notice the NSV's, which I admittedly struggle with. I like to see the numbers going down and forget to enjoy those other small wins. However but I can share that the feeling of clothes fitting better is sure a nice feeling.. I really need to go jeans shopping but I don't want to yet , until I get into the 150's. :) Ofcourse I look a little like a vagabond in some of my older jeans right now because I have way less " junk in the trunk" I know it looks silly with the baggy butt issue but I don't go to too many public places so I don't really care right now. I do have 2 pairs of jeans from my thinner days that I saved, thank goodness, that are fitting so that's nice! Belts are a life saver right now.
There is a way to fix the formatting with the line spacing I read somewhere, but I haven't figured it out yet.. anyone else?

Speaking of NSV's..I have been focusing on progressive overloads in my workouts for the last few weeks and was really stuck with not being able to transition from the 15 lb to 20 lb dumbbells for shoulder press and biceps , at least for not more than a few reps (with bad form). I finally got there last night. Was able to complete three sets of 10 for both exercises and didn't lose form. I had to use wrist weights for the last couple of weeks to bridge the weight gap because apparently going up 5 lbs was too much and I didn't want to risk injury. I guess it worked ! I have some arthritis in my left shoulder and my left bicep seems to be a bit lazy and not wanting to fire all the time which is a weird experience. (maybe the shoulder arthritis impacts that somehow? )
Have a great Thursday everyone.

The formatting thing, ugh. My work around has been taking the previous day's post, pasting it into notepad, adding today's data, and pasting it in to the comment box.

Struggling to lose weight. I think I need a different approach. I need to make sure I prepare healthy meals but when I’m not cooking or eating my 3 meals I am going to try and just not think about it. I feel a bit consumed right now with thoughts of food, exercise and losing weight. I want to take the pressure off and relax a bit. Not meaning eating whatever I want but just chilling out. Think of my health and well being instead of what the scale says. I will continue to weigh myself regularly to make sure I’m not gaining weight.

Wooo made it under 155! Wearing the shirt I am going to throw away today. It’s one of my hubby’s shirts that even has a small hole at counter height. So it’s time to let go. I also treated myself to two new shirts off TikTok shop and bought my old sizes in them so I have something to look forward to wearing. I did my 200 minutes of peddling under my desk all week and walked an hour over lunch with my coworkers every day. I had protein shakes and protein yogurt for lunch everyday and kept calories in check. Today I am taking a half day at work and going to take the dogs for a nice 4 mile walk and then making tuna salad sandwiches for dinner. Got to stay strong through the weekend!
