    Jennifer - 53 years

    Re-started 4/24/24 - 236.2

    CW: 203.2

GW: 165 (may adjust when I get there)

    Loss since 4/24/24 - 33 Pounds

    5'3" Tall

    Monday weigh in

    • 3/1 - 203.2
    • 3/3 - 203.8
    • 3/10 - 201.6
    • 3/17 - 202.8
    • 3/24 - 203
    • 3/31 - 202.8

I had my right meniscus repaired on 3/17 and the recovery is going very well. I miss my workouts (more so the endorphins than the actual work). I go to my first post op visit tomorrow afternoon. The physical therapist is impressed with my progress and has said that I am stronger than they thought I would be.

Not much progress on the scale this month but I am okay with that. I plan on getting back to normal starting today. On April 24th it will be 1 year that I have been consistent with taking care of me. I like the progress that I have made, and I know that I can do more.

I will see you all in the April thread - have a great day.

    Jennifer – 53 years old

Restarted on 4/24/24 at 236.2 lbs
    Current Weight (CW): 203.2 lbs
Goal Weight (GW): 165 lbs (might adjust once I get there)
Total Loss Since 4/24/24: 33 lbs
    Height: 5'3"
    Weigh-in Day: Monday

    Weekly Check-ins:

    • 3/1 – 203.2
    • 3/3 – 203.8
    • 3/10 – 201.6
    • 3/17 – 202.8
    • 3/24 – 203
    • 3/31 – 202.8

I had surgery on my right meniscus on 3/17 and recovery is going well. I do miss my workouts—mostly the endorphins—but I'm happy with how things are progressing. My first post-op visit is tomorrow, and the physical therapist has said my strength is better than expected.

The scale hasn’t moved much this month, but I’m okay with that. I’m getting back to my routine starting today. April 24th will mark one year since I started consistently focusing on my health, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far.

Looking forward to continuing the journey in the June thread. If you're like me and enjoy staying active, even walking through Singapore Malls can be a great way to keep moving while enjoying your day. Have a great one!

    Weigh-in Day: Monday

    Weekly Check-ins:

I had meniscus surgery on 3/17, and my recovery is going smoothly. While I miss my workouts—especially the energy boost they give me—I'm pleased with how things are going. My first post-op checkup is tomorrow, and the physical therapist is already impressed with my strength.

Although there hasn't been much change on the scale this month, I'm okay with that. Today, I’m starting to get back into my regular routine. April 24th will mark one full year of staying consistent with my health goals, and I'm proud of the progress so far.

I'm looking forward to continuing the journey in April. For light activity and a change of pace, browsing places listed in the Woodleigh Mall Directory is a nice way to stay on your feet while enjoying your surroundings.

Loving the positivity in this group! I'm new here and wanted to share my journey. My goal is to lose 50 pounds and then reassess. It's been about 15 years since I started struggling with weight gain. I’m 62, have a slow thyroid, and stopped working out regularly years ago. Since then, I’ve tried weight loss meds, Weight Watchers (which I think is a great plan), and various clinics. I’d lose weight but always gained it back once I stopped.

Now, I’m committing to the calories in/calories out approach, along with moving more—at least four days a week for 30+ minutes. I feel this is something I can stick with long-term. Motivation has been tough in the past, but it's starting to come back. The warm weather is a huge help—makes walking outside so much easier and more enjoyable!

Just like checking your NOL card balance regularly keeps you on track with your travel budget, I’m hoping that tracking my calories and activity will keep me on track with my health goals. Thanks to this group for the support—I already feel more hopeful!

I love the positivity in this group! I’m new here and wanted to share a bit about my journey. My goal is to lose 50 pounds and then reassess. It’s been about 15 years since I began struggling with weight gain. I’m 62, have a slow thyroid, and stopped exercising regularly years ago. Since then, I’ve tried weight loss medications, Weight Watchers (which I still think is a great program), and several clinics. I’d lose weight, but once I stopped, the pounds always crept back.

This time, I’m focusing on the calories in/calories out method, paired with moving more, at least four days a week for 30+ minutes. I feel like this is something I can stick with long term. Motivation hasn’t always been easy, but I’m finally starting to feel it return. The warm weather helps a lot, it makes walking outdoors so much more enjoyable!

In the same way that booking an NBI Appointment Online keeps you organized and on schedule, I’m hoping that consistently tracking my calories and activity will keep me accountable and on track with my health goals. Thanks to this group for the encouragement. I already feel more hopeful!

Really appreciating all the positivity in this group! I’m new and wanted to share my story. My current goal is to lose 50 pounds and then reevaluate. I’ve been dealing with weight gain for about 15 years now. At 62, with a slow thyroid and years of not exercising regularly, it’s been tough. I’ve tried different approaches, weight loss medications, Weight Watchers (which I truly think is a solid plan), and weight loss clinics. I’d succeed for a while, but once I stopped, the weight would always return.

Now I’m committing to a straightforward approach: calories in/calories out, plus moving more, at least four days a week for half an hour or more. I believe this is realistic and sustainable for me. Motivation has been my biggest challenge, but it’s finally coming back. The warm weather really helps, it makes outdoor walks so much nicer!

Just like DELIMa 2.0 provides a structured way to manage learning and tasks effectively, I’m hoping that tracking my food and activity will give me the structure I need to stay on track with my health. Thanks for the warm support, it’s already making a big difference!
