Introduction – From 25 Stone (159kg) to 98kg & Still Going!

Hey everyone! I’ve been lurking on the forums for a while but thought it was about time to introduce myself properly.
I’m Jim, and over the last 8 months, I’ve gone from 25 stone (159 kg) to 98 kg, dropping from 34% body fat to 23% - and I’m still working towards my goal. My journey has been all about habit-building, accountability, and learning as I go, and I’ve used MyFitnessPal every step of the way to track my progress.
How I Got Here
- I didn’t start in the gym or with cardio. For the first 2–3 months, I focused entirely on my diet and building sustainable habits.
- I eventually found keto, which helped me curb cravings and control hunger better than anything I’d tried before.
- Tracking my food every day, even when I wasn’t perfect, kept me accountable and aware.
- I hit plateaus, adjusted, kept learning, and just stuck with it.
Where I’m At Now
- 98 kg, 23% body fat
Feeling stronger, healthier, and in control- Still working towards my next goal and fine-tuning my approach
