Stuck

Good morning,
Just need some ideas on how to move that stubborn scale. I've lost 20lb since the end of December 2024. I'm pleased with that but have but stuck at the same weight for 4 weeks now. I've really watched my calories and have increased my walking. Im older and still working, so hard to get in more walking than I'm doing. Helpful tips please. Thanks all

Sounds like you need to decrease your calories just a little more now that you've lost 20 pounds. Smaller bodies use fewer calories. I don't make the rules of physics, I just abide by them. All jokes aside, as you continue losing weight, calorie needs go down. Sad but true for everyone.

It looks like you lost a good amount of weight in a fairly short time, 10 weeks? So that's 2lbs per week, which is the maximum a person should be losing per week - if this person is very obese. You don't provide any information on your stats, but it's possible that your body is simply catching up with this rapid loss, telling you to slow down by adding water weight due to stress, maybe it's warmer where you are and your body is in addition holding more onto water, TOM if you have a cycle and lots of other things.

I always give my voodoo advice.. to eat a cheat meal . .maybe two days in a row.. then continue on. When I was stuck in the same place years ago.. going off my plan for two weekend meals. And, yes, my loss was jumpstarted again. . I'v e done it a few times now..
