The Glucose Revolution book—thoughts?

I am curious what people think about the Glucose Revolution book (Jessie Inchauspe) and her hacks for leveling blood sugar. (She is also on Instagram as the Glucose Goddess.)
I am particularly interested in the idea of eating your veggies first and then protein/fat and then carbs.

my husband wears a CGM and tracks his blood sugar in real time. The order food is eaten does seem to reduce his spikes. Even more impactful is a 10-15 minute walk after he eats.

Food order really doesn't matter, according to most studies done on humans. What matters is combining carbs with protein and fat so that you are not consuming carbs in isolation. Her obsession with glucose spikes is basically a scam to make money off her books and products. That being said, if you want to give it a go, go for it! To each their own.

A perfect example of why people need to do their own research.

Unless you're diabetic i wouldn't worry about it.

For sure people with diabetes are in that demographic which represents about 11% of the US population. Also the road to diabetes are people that are prediabetic with around an additional 38%, and if you include people with insulin resistance that number goes up by an additional 30% or higher depending on who's data it is.
Basically if we put insulin resistance into the mix, the percentage of people impacted by blood sugar or insulin-related issues would likely be significantly higher than 50%. Some estimates suggest that up to 80% of adults in the U.S. may have some form of metabolic dysfunction, which includes insulin resistance as a precursor. But like I said, do your own research from as many quality sources that you can find.

Agree, this is part of my research :)
Wondering what other people’s experience is!
some of her ideas (take a walk after you eat, eat carbs with some protein) are present in lots of other books. A few (order of eating) are different…0 -
Yeah, she's not saying anything that isn't well known if a person did any research, or at least this has been known for me for well over a decade which is when I originally used my research to address my prediabetic condition, along with some other health issues that were associated with mostly chronic inflammation, which is exactly why diabetes and other metabolic conditions exist to begin with.
Probably her masters in biochemistry and working with 23andme for a while encouraged her to branch out to be more of an influencer, which is where personal health care along with AI is headed, so we better get use to it because it's going to ramp up pretty quickly going forward.
I have one of her books to research the source material she used but don't follow her and never have, just wanted to see her point of view and and I also don't agree with all her points but then again I don't think there's anyone where I do.
