Significant Other NSVs? :D

I lost over 40 pounds last spring to end my Senior year of high school, which was a huge feat for a girl who thought she would be "big" all her life. I then picked up a really nice looking, charming fellow, and have stuck with him ever since
Needless to say, I settled down (after all, the one I loved most thought I looked perfect the way I was) so I fell out of the weight loss game 20-ish lbs before my goal weight. I continued to gain a little bit of it back when we moved into an apartment a few months ago.
I started feeling like a failure recently, like all that hard work didn't accomplish enough for me on a personal level (I also found through my journey that I'm a competitive person, I WANT TO WIN!!! hehe), so I signed myself back up for the better. I've only lost 4 pounds in the last two weeks I've been working at it (typical for me), and since I remember not seeing much until I dropped a size or two last round I know I probably won't even see a difference until I'm close to my goal.
However, this morning I woke up while my boyfriend was rustling around to get ready for work, and something compelled him to start poking and feeling me in the stomach and say stuff like "You're getting smaller, aren't ya? Aren't ya? Yeah, I knew it." I hadn't even told him I was trying to lose weight again, either!
I swear, it's the little things from the people you love the most that make the best victories. Not just the NSV kind, but in life
What NSVs have you had with your significant others?

Yes! I've been losing inches fasting than I've been losing weight so the comments I've been getting from people are helping to reinforce just how much things have been changing for me, though maybe the scale isn't showing it as much as it should be.0

I actually had a similar experience with hubby about 6 weeks ago. I had been telling him about how people are telling me that they see changes and how look tighter, and all of a sudden he started poking at my belly. He even pulled my undies down and moved my belly around. He said he could really see what people were talking about!
Not only has hubby noticed, but I am having a run on people telling me how awesome I look and how much progress I have made. Funny thing is...I have only lost 4# this YEAR.0 -
The fella and I went trail running and I was in front to set the pace, since he runs much faster. He told me that I'm developing really defined calves and that he was having trouble watching the trail for obstacles because I my butt was distracting him!
It was also one of the most challenging runs I've ever done, so double NSV!0 -
My hubby made the comment, during "sexy time", that his hands were closer together. I'll take it!:blushing:0
