Is there a way to sort my recipes by name?

My recipes appear in the order I enter them, which is a pain if I want to review or edit one. I'd like them in alphabetical order.

The list appears alphabetically in the Food Diary section (i.e., if I want to record one as part of a meal).

you should be able to go to the tab and just type the first few letters of it to find it instantly.

Mine are all in order entered. I don’t think there’s an alphabetical sort option, but the search does essentially the same thing.

The typing-in thing works in the phone/tablet app, but not in web browser MFP. I know of no way to sort the recipes in web browser MFP, which is not the same as saying no way exists, because I'm no guru, still learning about MFP features after nearly 10 years of using it.

In the phone/tablet app, you can change the sort order of recipes in the "Recipes, Meals, and Foods" section, if that's the area you're talking about, at least in the Android version (usually the Apple version is similar). Look for a three-dots thing in the upper right corner of the Recipe tab there. Click on the three dots, then click "Sort Order". Pick the order you want from the list.

if you really hate editing on the phone, just find the recipe (on the phone) and make a tiny change, like adding a letter to the name. Save it, then it will appear at the top of the list on the desktop version of MFP
