Measurements

Options

I think a space to save and compare measurements, as a extra method of tracking progress. Some measurements change while weight doesn't always.this is the case if have witnessed with many whether it is gaining, losing or gaining muscle.

That already exists, and I'm pretty sure it exists in free MFP, not just premium, though I have premium now so I can't verify.

Last I knew, though, the only place to add a new TYPE of measurement was in web browser MFP. It's at this URL, and you'd have to log in on a web browser - one that won't invoke the phone/tablet app - to get to it:

    https://www.myfitnesspal.com/measurements/check-in

It should look like this, except yours presumably wouldn't yet show the additional measurement types that mine does:

Click on the "Track Additional Measurements" to add the new measurement types you want, plus your first entry value for each.

After you do that, you should be able to put in new progress entries for those measurement types via the phone/tablet app, if you prefer. Either click on the weight progress card on the dashboard, or the Progress option in the More menu. Either of those will bring up the weight progress graph. Near the top, click on Weight to get a panel that lets you select one of the other measurement types to display, as shown below. Click the one you want, then add a new measurement value by clicking the plus sign in the upper right of the progress graph page.
