Hello- Does anyone have a nutritous, low sugar, high protein 1100-1400 calorie meal plan they can share? I am trying to loose body fat and gain lean muscle. Thanks in advance

Cooking Light magazine used to have 1200 calorie days i"d use to help plan my week. I couldn't find it on internet, but they have a lot of inexpensive cookbooks.

You could try an app like this one:

    https://www.eatthismuch.com/

There, the basic options are free and don't even require an account. IMU, with a free account you have more detailed control or options, and there may be premium features available for pay, not sure. I'm sure there are other similar apps out there.

I've played with the no-account-needed part just out of curiosity, but I don't work for them, don't get compensated for linking the site, don't even use the site because the idea of having someone else tell me what to eat is completely counter to my tastes and personality as a hedonistic, willful, aging-hippie rebel flake. 😆

It probably wouldn't suit you, but what I did instead was a "gradually remodel your eating" approach using foods I like and find affordable/practical. I tweaked my routine habits step by step until I was hitting my calorie and nutrition goals, feeling full most of the time, and being happy with my overall routine. One great thing about that for me was that by focusing on routine habits, I reached a point where I can hit my goals most of the time without much thought, rather than micromanaging details daily.

For others who might enjoy that kind of approach, totally opposite to a structured what-to-eat detailed plan, there's more info in this MFP thread:

Best wishes for success - IME, the reward is worth the effort, no matter the path you take to get there!

As an aside, 1100 calories seems pretty low, maybe risky unless quite petite, not very active at all, female, and older. Even as a 5'5" 69 y/o woman who's quite sedentary outside of intentional exercise, I wouldn't go that low. Maybe it's right for you, but sometimes people try to go way aggressive when not essential. That usually doesn't end well, but frequently does end quickly.

that’s pretty low. What are your stats? What is your height weight. Losing fat and gaining muscle especially with low calories very difficult. In fact, losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time at any time is difficult if not impossible. There are factors that need to be in place which isn’t always possible.

Get away from the lean muscle concept as muscle is muscle. Lean muscle is basically muscle that’s been built then the fat has been stripped off of it
