How will it work the steps are showing 0 and we are walking from 1 hour how will it work plz explain

are you using a fitness tracker? Have you set it up to sync with MFP?
You have to allow permission in the privacy area for your device and/or phone to sync with the app.
For my Apple Watch, I used the health app on my phone to do this.
I'm currently on vacation and deliberately didn’t bring my tracker, but my phone is generally still in my pocket and reporting any steps to MFP.If you don’t have your phone or fitness tracker synced, you will have to manually enter exercise on your diary page.
You may also find a slight delay with reporting steps or activity. You can force an update by hitting “sync” on the menu page of the app, but even that may be slightly delayed.

Hi!
For the Apple ecosystem, I had issues catching my steps. I've installed Pedometer++ (icon is a white silhouette on a green background) and it's the only thing that's caught my steps properly. (But this may be an issue on my side.)
I do sub to it (worth it in my book for my purposes) but I think it is usable without a subscription?
I'm guessing all the other ecosystems have something equivalent.

are you using an Apple Watch? Are you doing anything besides walking? Is MFP capturing the other exercise you’re recording on your watch?
If not, you’re not synced properly. Lmk and I’ll be happy to share screen shots. It’s all a learning curve! But once you get your watch synced it is, literally, life changing.

I am. I still don't get why I couldn't get the steps to update on MFP. This was, mind you, more than a year ago. 😅 But with the extra 'intermediary' app it stopped being an issue (I think I also added the app because it gives me a complication that updates nearly in real time?)
And absolutely agree about how helpful it is!
Looking forward to OP telling us what they're using and how we can help it sync, if we know how.
