Overwhelmed by to many options

I know I feel better and lose better when I follow more of a keto lifestyle. Meat and veggies are way better for me. Although when I stress eat I really want bread etc..

How's that too many options? If keto works for you and you enjoy it, do it. Simple.

The root cause of your problem may not be what you eat, but the fact you stress eat. Perhaps find a way to handle stress that doesn't involve food?

I sympathize.
I empathize.
I fight it.
When I win I lose weight.

You can still lose weight and eat bread. Does your stress come from denying yourself and then binging? You are allowed to eat carbs. Bread brings me joy so I include it. I prefer nutty, seedy brown bread so it's not as processed but mostly because it has more flavour and texture.

There's many interpretations of keto diets and many people fall out from one that might not be formulated properly, it's mostly hormonal where the satiety signaling mechanism isn't fully engaged properly, which circles back to how the keto diet is formulated and of course the adaption period varies quite a bit and generally this is when we see the most drop outs.
Not until I got rid of diet Pepsi did I feel totally comfortable being in the presents of any type of carbohydrate, sweet things and desserts and now I have no desire whatsoever, where before I could and would start thinking and start consuming some carbs and bread was one I sought out during some intense and trying situations.
The basic back lash from consuming a keto diet are generally from poorly formulated diet and the adaption time and the simple fact that even people that say they don't have a problem consuming carbs when asked to remove carbs and try a ketogenic diet for 60 days, they can't, come up with a dozen excuses or they last a day or two and a constant reason is they are actually attracted to carbs so much they can't remove them, basically they're carbaholics in denial, otherwise what's the problem to not try just to test the theory or actually experiment, excuses abound. I've tried just about every diet at one time or another and it's also good information trying to figure out your own limitations and what works better than another intervention. Of course there's the possibility you don't suit a ketogenic diet as well but you seem to believe you do well with it.

how you lose it. .is how you have to maintain it. so .. if you love bread. losing keto.. is a trap. just my opinion.
