To all having issues with MyFitnessPal and FitBit not syncing…I have been having this issue for the past week. Thought I fixed it but back again. I saw there is an update for my FitBit Charge 6 (I had to look for it), so I did the update then restarted my phone. After I did that, tada, my calories burned today synced with MyFitnessPal. Check to see if you have any updates on your FitBit. That might be the answer.

All of us here are MFP users...like you.

Rarely a staff member does write here, again all of us are MFP users like you

The point is for us to be generous, kind, and helpful with all the other MFP users. You know, like "pals"

So something I have noticed with this ongoing saga is that, when I update my water consumption in MFP it updates and pulls through into the FitBit app. So it seems data coming out of MFP is fine, its data going in the direction of FitBit to MFP that's the issue with regards to steps.

So perhaps we are looking to the wrong party for answers, and it is a FitBit issue?

I don't know why I can't edit a previous post…anyway, it might be sheer luck or an answer to the syncing issues between FitBit and MFP. Last night I revoked MFP access to FitBit (done in FitBit or FB), then reconnected from MFP. Since then FB is syncing with MFP. 🤞

Mine is syncing fine now except for water - for each entry I make on MFP it's only syncing as 1 oz instead of the amount I'm entering (which is usually 32 oz). Everything else is fine

I think I found the solution, and it it’s not MyFitnessPal.

Once I allowed Google to update Fitbit (I believe they have taken over), all has been fine.

My water is not synching either. i'm getting the one ounce.

Also, I've noticed in the last week steps rolling back. For example, last night I finished a walk and I had 27K + steps logged on my fitbit. I sat down and watched the counter roll back 500 steps. Which is really frustrating. IT's been doing this all week. Sometimes just 50 or 100 steps. Sometimes hundreds.

The exercise calories seem to be coming over, more or less. That's what I rely on. The water I don't much care about. The rolling back of steps walked when I finish a walk is annoying.
