    If you're asking how to lose 100 pounds, the basic answer is eating at a calorie level that lets you lose a pound or two per week . . . and using patient persistence. Eat foods that you find keep you mostly full and that you enjoy (to help you learn new permanent good eating habits); while - if you like - gradually adding manageably challenging new movement to your days, either intentional exercise or daily life stuff like extra chores/projects. If intentional exercise, ideally find something you think is fun, but that's at least tolerable and practical.

    I don't recommend tricksy named diets with restrictive rules; trendy weight loss "hacks" or "weird tricks"; exotic supplements; punitively intense, miserable exercise. That kind of thing rarely ends well, but usually does end quickly. Fortunately, none of that is necessary.
