Getting in my recommended calories

hi everyone! I’m having trouble getting in my recommended calories! By the end of the day I still have about 600 cal to get in. Is it because I’m not as active right now or because I’m not working out? Is this normal in the beginning? I’ve been using myfitness pal app for about two weeks now! Any advice?

I’d give it a month and check your weight then. If you have less than 50 lbs to lose, aim for less than 2 lbs per week or 8 lbs per month. Adjust as needed based on this guideline and how you feel. Even losing 0.5 lbs per week is great progress. Take your time and focus on building habits that will help you maintain your results for life.

We don't know because you don't give us any more information. Would you share your current stats and calorie goal? Do you have a fitness tracker linked to your account? What are your activity settings? Idealy, you should try to get as close to your calories as possible as undereating is not good. But if you have a lot to lose and you've chose a moderate weightloss goal, or you have a tracker linked that gives you massive fake burns then you're probably fine.

I never have an extra 600 calories that I am trying to eat before the end of the day. What is your daily calorie intake?
