Calorie deficit

Hello,
Does BMR calories count when you are considering if you are burning more than you consumed? I always thought that exercise cals burned was the only thing that truly counted.
For example: I consumed 1730 cals in total before working out. With exercise I'm left with 1566 cals.
My fit bit watch now says I burned in total with BMR and Exercise a total of 1915 cals
So I consumed 1566 cals and burned 1915 cals in total. Therefore I burned more than I consumed? Am I understanding right?
Thank you

BMR is an estimate (based on population statistics) of your calorie burn if in a coma.
The Fitbit watch probably over-estimates calories for some activities and under-estimates for others, but sure you could use it an estimate for your TDEE and see how it goes. If you are genuinely about 350 under each day then you should lose about 0.7 pounds per week. So see how things go and adjust if needed. You might lose more in the first week due to water weight loss. And there might be noise around monthly cycle if applicable, or increased lifting and intensive exercise can add water for muscle recovery.

Everything counts towards burn more calories than you consume, also your BMR calories. It's entirely possible to lose weight without exercising by the way.
