Progress So Far!

I became serious about my health this year, and after much deliberation I decided to try belly dancing for fun (and exercise! It does not look it but it is a big workout)!

The belly dancing itself has done wonders for my self esteem, as eventually, I had no problem bearing my midsection for my University to see at the dance showcase!

I weighed 156 lbs at the showcase in April, and now I am down to 138 lbs! I was actually shocked when I say the picture of me in my dance gear back then, so I decided to put the same stuff on and see the difference!

So here is my -18 lbs difference!

For the most part, I ran and danced the weight off, along with changing my eating habits so they were healthier :)
I still have a bit to go, and owe much of my success to the support of those on MFP! Thank you!
