Moving Premium subscription from Google to Apple

I subscribed to Premium via Google Play on my Android phone. That broke. Now I use a iPhone. I want to change my subscription via Apple. My subscription via Google ends 13th July 2025.

Shall I just cancel on Google Play and when the time is due I renew via Apple iStore?

I am in the UK.
