Recipe Serving Options

For recipes created by users, could there be an option for what a serving equates to? Right now you can only quantify how many servings a recipe makes, but I would like the option to also put how much a serving is (e.g. an ounce, a cup, etc) similarly to the options available when you create a food. There’s been many times I log a recipe I haven’t made for a while and I have no idea what a serving equates to, so I have to go back into the actual recipe and figure out the portions for a serving.

I'd like this too, but my current workaround is to put it in the recipe title. So I might have "Chicken Corn Soup - 100g serve" or "Chicken Corn Soup - 1 cup serve"

I agree this would be a nice feature, and agree with Alatariel75's workaround as a good option, but I usually go another route: I make the recipe, noting the ingredients, then I weigh the finished, cooked product - the whole thing - in grams. Then I put the number of grams into the number of servings.

MFP will give a sort of warning message. I forget the exact text, but it amounts to "did you really mean that huge number?". But it will let me continue and add the big number of servings. When I log the food, I weigh my portion in grams, and log that number of servings.

This is easy if I remember to weigh the cooking dish/pan before putting the food in it. Some people who do it this way weigh their frequently-used cooking pans/dishes up front, and tape a list of their weights on the inside of a cabinet door or something like that.
