Thanks @SummerSkier & @quilteryoyo. I actually did a +5km walk on Sunday, which was why I decided to go for a couple of rest days. Those rest days helped. Today, I tried a speedy 5km treadmill run at lunch & luckily felt pretty normal, so after a few minutes, did another 6.2km slower pace treadmill run. Hope your rib muscle issue gets better quickly @SummerSkier .

    Beautiful pics @ContraryMaryMary

Sorry about the layoff @kgirlhart, that's lousy news.

Thanks @SummerSkier . My labs are usually pretty good. I'm sorry you hurt your muscle - maybe that's why I put off cleaning as long as possible. It's dangerous! 😂 Good job with the run. Just be careful that you don't overdo and make it worse.

Such a pretty place for a run @ContraryMaryMary . I hope you get to hike in the snow and have fun.

    Nice run @tarun_yadavA .

I hope you start feeling better soon @angf0679 .

Great running @yirara . Enjoy the concert.

Nice running @John772016 . Glad the rest days helped your back.

@angf0679 Congrats on the NSV! Feeling your clothes fit better is such a good feeling!

@Laurz9191 Major congrats on your marathon PR! 🎉🎉 I knew you would crush it!

Lastly, sorry to hear you got laid off. @kgirlhart I have fingers crossed for you that you find a job soon and this ends up being a blessing in disguise.

Congrats on the NSV with the jeans @angf0679! Sorry about those GPS issues.
I had a run last year where I had run about 5km and ended up at a intersection waiting for the light to change. Another runner came up behind me, we chatted briefly and both went off across the street with the light change, continuing along different paths. When I got home & reviewed 'my' run, it was half of mine and I'm assuming, half of his. We had both run 10km but there was half of my 10K that wasn't anywhere I had run😂. I really wanted to meet up with the other runner again and see if he had the other half of my 10K!!

Sounds like it that will definitely work for you @yirara!

Glad to hear you've recovered from the flu @martaindale; it's lousy to get a spring flu when the weather's improving and you want to get out there!

Nice running @kgirlhart . Big hugs to you. Hang in there. I hope you find your dream job soon! Your flowers are beautiful.

Great run @tarun_yadavA . Have you given up on the gym?

Thanks @Teresa502 . Great run this morning.

@angf0679 I can also get irritated at how long it takes GPS to find me sometimes. Get job on getting the run in. I hope you feel better soon. Congrats on that weight loss. That is huge!

    You did great @yirara .

Great run @martaindale . I'm glad you are finally over the flu.

hahaha @John772016 I wonder how you exchanged routes on your watches. So funny. Was he faster or slower than you? You are doing great so far this month.

I did a treadmill sleasy run after I got home today, Mom had a doctor's appointment and we did our grocery shopping. Mom's appointment was a 4 month follow up. Since she is still coughing after 2 weeks, she got some medicine to help finish kicking the gunk to the curb. Mom's lungs were clear, so that's great.

I really had planned to just walk, with a tad of running, but decided to run enough to keep my HR between 110 and 130 bpm. I did run/walk at 4.5/4.0 mph …started out 5/1 min, but wound up with 2/2 min. Definitely slow at an avg pace of 13:58 min/mile. Avg HR was 116 with a max of 133 bpm.

That is huge @SummerSkier . Congratulations!

Thanks @tarun_yadavA . Another great run in the books.

Great job getting started again @WarmJellyfish . The heating pad and ice pack are my friends when I need something.

I do remember that @SummerSkier! Congrats on the 100th day achievement, Great stuff!

He was definitely faster @quilteryoyo, he made me look good! On that run I was using my old Samsung watch instead of my Garmin(needed charging). That Samsung did some really odd things with its GPS, but that was definitely the weirdest. I had never used it in any races, now I wonder what it would've done with all those other GPS signals to choose from🤔

    4/10: 6.26 miles
    4/11: 6.25 miles

    59.54/140 miles completed for April

Since I didn't have to be at work today, I didn't have to run before the sun came up. So, I guess that was nice. I got out about 8:20 this morning and ran 6.25 miles. It was good running weather and a pretty decent run.

@SummerSkier We took the hibiscus in over the winter, and it did really well this year.

@Mari33a I hope they can figure out what is going on with your son and he recovers soon.

@John772016 Now I'm thinking you should wear it for a race, just to see what it does. LOL

    Nice run @kgirlhart .

@tarun_yadavA Nice run. Taking it easy today?

    10.04 5.0km 37min 7:26/km - warmup, 15min fast
    11.04 strength
    12.04 5.1km 40min 7:48/km - just shite

    40.29/81km - 7.9km ahead

So basically I've figured out some supplement timing and dosage to be able to run, some magnesium against muscle tightness and for energy, and salt against blood pooling. Easy. I changed this a tiny bit today, and running totally didn't work: super blood pooling and too much magnesium I think. Bad combination. While I could previously run 8km, I didn't even manage 2km without having to walk a bit. Basically: shite. But I got a garmin 5km badge. for this month. Will be away for the next two days, thus back to start next week.
