April 2025 - loose 5 pounds

43-year-old, Female.
Working full-time, mom to two.
I plan to keep small achievable goals and want to lose 5 pounds in April.
I need motivation to keep myself on track.
Current weight is 145 lbs

I came here looking for motivation and accountability…. When I used to use this app, you could have friends here on MFP and your page kept a running news feed of all of your friends comments/pics/activities and you could comms t back and forth with each other. That feature is gone now and the bear feature.
I emailed support and they said to join a group but I haven’t found what they are talking about yet…. Have you had any luck yet? You posted looking for help and here I am asking YOU for help.. haha.. 48 year old that’s been out of the gym for about 6 months and trying to get going again.. Either way, good-luck to you!

Let's go.. dad of 2 girls 48. Gained a ton of weight 277 current. Taking a trip to fl.. April 29th. I want to lose 10 lbs before then.

Okay, I am saying no to sugar wherever I can and also going on the low-carb diet.
Drinking more water and eating fruits. I will also try to increase my protein intake and engage in a 30-minute workout. 10 pounds is ambitious but doable. Just go a bit aggressive and curb the cravings with water. I will get on the scale every other day to stay committed.
I will also take fiber in the form of Psyllium husk.Let's go dad!

Hi! I’m also a 43 year old mom of 3 who works full time. I’m at 150 and want to be 135ish before going on vacation in July. I’d also love to lose 5 lbs in April - let’s do this! I’m also going to get 10k steps a day this month 👊

Yes, keep small goals like aiming for 5 pounds and a few inches. I know the only thing that works for my weight loss is eating less and eating clean. We can do it!
