Only way is up..

Nice to meet you all! I feel I’ve hit “rock bottom” and only way is up right now. I’ve been yoyo-dieting, starting challenges and “lifestyle changes”, but it has not been working. Currently under tremendous amount of stress due to work life and personal life hectic schedules, but as I’ve been “trying” to lose weight since January to gain 5ish pounds now, I realize I am just cheating on myself right now.


I can easily identify what’s wrong and what I need to do differently. A long history with weight battles and ED, currently perimenopausal busy mom of multiple kids and career in healthcare (RN). Pretty active lifestyle with weight lifting, kickboxing, stairmaster and jogging with occasional yoga/pilates or other workout class, but also spend decent amount of time driving long distances. Diet consists no red meat for 25 years and alcohol in social settings, so biggest problem is calorie surplus caused by poor choices, portion sizes and mentally “cheating” on myself.

I’m excited to join the community and get serious about my health and journey.
