This is it....

No, but seriously, though.....I'm tired of this. I have gained a little over 40 (!!!!!) pounds since I've been with my fiance in almost two years. I'm done with it. I have spend many a day indulging in Taco Bell and Little Caesars and Roberto's Carne Asada Fry Burritos.....*drool*

And I'm not saying I'm going to cut them out, just cut them back, and work things into my calorie budget.

I was looking for a quick fix. A fast, maybe. But did it work? No! I was STARVING. And I was mean. And now I'm going to do this.

I started today. It is almost night. I survived. Even the coca pebbles taunting me from the cupboard didn't break me. Also? I have the last chocolate chip pumpkin cookie to my fiance so I wouldn't be tempted.

So, this is it. I have 100+ pounds to lose.

Who's with me?! :)

You can absolutely do it.... but there are no quick fixes

remember this is all about a lifestyle change.... it takes a strong will at times and a staunch determination to make it( like anything worthwhile in life)

    good luck! :)

I think a lot of women do that; we try and match our partners in the eating department. Physically, women cannot metabolize as much food as a man even the same weight, generally. So it's no wonder we gain when we try and eat right alongside a guy bigger than we are. I've been there.

You don't have to be eating to enjoy time together. It's not about the food...

You can do this! Just remember it's not a diet but a lifestyle change. Have the things you like but only as treats and in moderation. Best wishes to you

It's doable...set a calorie deficit and eat the foods you like within the deficit goal.

That saying "if I can do it, anybody can do it" is SO TRUE!! You got this, girl!! I have another 100 to lose, too!
  • Im with ya on that. Just start and don't look back. Look forward to all the positive things you will accomplish when you reach your goal. Mmmm you mentioned cookies, today has been a very tempting day for me, but I've been good and said no to all those delish treats near the bakery. You can do it, I just started and also its getting a little easier. The toughest part is just changing your old habits and routines to better healthier ones. I am soo glad I found this website. The mfp friends here are so supportive and the tools help you keep track.

You can do it! Set a realistic goal for your calories. MFP does a good job at assigning a number if you go through their recommended steps. If it's too restrictive, we are way more likely to give up.
